1. How much can I expect to receive?
Linkshape Love certificates are worth 10% of the project total. Let’s say your friend hires Linkshape to shape their beautiful and snazzy new web site for $3000. You’ll receive a $300 certificate (10% of the project total).
2. When can I expect to receive it?
Your Linkshape Love certificate will be sent out on the 30th day of the month following the date your friend hires us. So, if your friend signs a contract with us on May 15th, you could expect your certificate to arrive in the mail just after June 30th.
3. What can I do with my certificate?
Your Linkshape Love certificate is as good as cash, meaning you can:
- Redeem it with us for a nice, shiny check for the full amount
- Save up all your certificates and apply it to your next Linkshape project
- Give it to yet another friend to use on their next Linkshape project. Plus, check this out
4. How do I make a referral to Linkshape?
There are two ways you can get credit for referring friends to Linkshape.
If you send us a referral, be sure to include as much information about the referral as you can, such as:
- Company or Name
- Contact Person
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Any other information, such as project type, best time to contact, etc.
All referrals can be submitted online in the sidebar, or by calling 888.863.3033, extension 801.
If your referral would prefer to contact us directly, it is extremely important that they identify you as their reference. If possible, please contact us and let us know that we will be receiving a call or email from a prospective client.
- Tell your friend about us and have them contact us.
- Tell us about your friend. We’ll contact them directly and you’ll automatically receive credit for the referral.
5. How do I make sure I get credit for my referrals?
This is extremely important: Make sure to tell your friend to drop your name before they actually hire us, so you can get credit for the referral.
You’ll be notified by phone or email immediately once we’re hired by your friend. You can also contact us at any time for an updated status of your referrals.
6. If I transfer my certificate to another friend, does that count as another referral?
Yes! We’ll send you another Linkshape Love Certificate, worth 10% of the new project’s total. Pretty cool, right?
If you want to transfer your certificate to a friend, you don’t have to give them the actual certificate – although it would be nice of you. However, be sure to give your friend the unique certificate number.
7. How do I transfer my certificate(s) to a friend?
Simply contact us to let us know you wish to transfer your certificate(s). We’ll ask you to provide us with the contact information for your friend in order to complete the transfer. Plus, as mentioned above, you’ll receive a new Linkshape Love certificate when the person you transferred your original certificate to hires Linkshape.
8. How many referrals can I make?
You can refer as many of your friends as you want… or friends of friends. Our love knows no bounds!
You’ll receive Linkshape Love certificates for each of your referrals that you can cash in, save up, or share for even more certificates.
9. How do I apply my certificate towards my projects?
Before hiring us for new projects, present your certificate number(s) and your project fees will automatically be reduced by that amount. Contact us to get started on your next big project!
10. How much Linkshape Love can I apply to my projects?
There is no limit. Can you say “free web site design”?
11. Can I pool my certificates with my friends’ certificates?
Certainly. Team up with your friends to make as many referrals as possible. Recruit your friends, family, vendors, employees, or even your clients. Somebody you know probably knows somebody who needs our services. Just image how much you could save up!
12. How do I redeem my certificate for cash?
Just contact us with your certificate number(s). We’ll mail a check for the full amount within 5 business days.
13. If I refer my friend, can I give the certificate I receive for that referral to that same friend?
No. Certificates must be applied to new Linkshape projects at the time of contract.
14. Can I refer my own company?
No. This program is all about sharing the love, remember?
15. Do my certificates expire?
Yes. Please be sure to use your certificates within 3 years of the issue date.
16. Am I eligible to participate in the Linkshape Love referral program?
Yes, so don’t wait!
The fine print
Actually, we don’t believe in using fine print, so let’s just talk about a few important points:
- Only your friends who are new Linkshape customers are eligible to be referrals. This is pretty obvious, but we need to point it out anyhow.
- If you transfer your Linkshape Love certificate to a friend, your friend may only apply the certificate towards their new Linkshape project. Transferred certificates are not eligible for cash redemption.
- Certificates can only be applied towards new Linkshape projects, meaning that the certificate must be presented at the time Linkshape is hired. Certificates may not be redeemed after the fact.
- Again, make sure that your friend gives you credit for referring them before we’re contracted for the project. This is extremely important. Otherwise, you won’t receive credit for the referral and won’t feel the love.
- Linkshape has sole authority over the referral program and all aspects of the program are governed by Linkshape management. Linkshape shall be the ruling authority over any and all disputes and any all decisions made by Linkshape are final.
- Linkshape reserves the sole right to change, suspend, cancel, or modify this referral program without notice.
